Pixie Rabbit
& Rodent Rescue
ABOUT US
Pixie Rabbit & Rodent Rescue is situated in Ashington, Northumberland and started in September 2010 with a couple named Kevin and Rachael who had five rabbits dumped at their doorstep in horrible conditions. In January 2012 their eldest child was born, taking up the rodent room. This is when Ebony stepped in and offered her experience and joined as our Rodent Manager.
The rescue operates currently through foster parents for majority of rabbits, with a rodent room. We do accept volunteers to help clean out/learn about animal care with both rabbits and rodents. We are aiming for a large rescue shed to be built in Spring/Summer 2015 after moving to a new property.
We are happy to attend any events to raise awareness, fund raise or educate younger people on animal care (we offer this for rabbits, gerbils, rats, leopard geckos and occasionally guinea pigs).
We work alongside the RSPCA and our local council.
Adoptable Rabbits

Rabit of the week
Hi! My name is George, I'm a big squishy bunny that is used to free ranging in the house, I really want a wifey or more to live with. I have no incisors after an op at 4/5 month old, but can eat just fine (if you chop my veggies up for me)

You will need to email any valentines themed photos of your small animal (rabbit, guinea pig, rats, chinchilla etc.) to pixierabbitrescue@gmail.com and send a donation of £2 to our Paypal (pixierabbitrescue@live.co.uk) as a gift quoting your valentines and your email address. Deadline is midnight on the twelve of February. Voting will commense on the 13th of February and winner will be announced on the 14th February. The winning photo will be used as our profile picture and may be used in a calender designed to raise more funds for the rescue.
