We no longer have a brick building we keep hutch's in (we moved home) instead we are now foster based with our hutch's been disperesed amongst foster homes across Northumberland and Teeside.

We are always looking for new foster parents to help with the Rabbits and Rodents (occasional exotics) in the North East. We also need people who can provide transport around certain areas.

 

When you decide to foster with Pixie Rescue you become part of the family. We like to get to know you and ensure you are confident enough to approach us with any question, no matter how silly you think it may be.

 

When it comes to vet costs they are covered through Rescue donations and ourselves, so you only need to provide the housing, food and love.

 

Burgess Excel is the food the rescue use for our rabbits, our rats have a special home made mix (Ebony will go through the recipe) and our other animals it depends on their dietry needs.

 

We ask all housing to meet our personal expectations and can help provide housing if needed. We require both indoor and outdoor foster parents for rabbits.

 

It's thanks to our foster parents that guys like Tinker and her babies have someplace warm, safe and filled with love to prepare them for their fureva homes. Our foster parents do an amazing job and we love evey one!
